5301/5 GSR Distance Determination (2023) Price: $295.00
Participants receive an evidence item consisting of a piece of fabric for testing using the Modified Griess and/or Sodium Rhodizonate chemical processing. Images of known distances will be provided including: original powder patterns on fabric, Modified Griess chemical treatment, and the fabric after processing with Sodium Rhodizonate. Participants will have the opportunity to process the evidence item, compare the results to the images of known distances, and report the distance determination range. The images of known distances are available in a choice of printed images or as a digital download.
The images are the same for all formats.
The known distance images in Test 5301 are provided as printed photographs.
This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043:2010.
Samples ship in March. All formats are released at the same time and contain the same images; reporting aspects of all formats are also combined.
