Controlled synthetic drug samples (U.S. Schedule 5 to Schedule 1) and non-controlled samples are used. Each test involves the qualitative analysis of two samples - one or both could be a controlled synthetic substance. This test is limited to synthetic drugs of the following classifications: synthetic cannabinoids, cathinones, tryptamines, phenethylamines, ketamine derivatives, or piperazines.
U.S. laboratories must provide a DEA registration number; enrollment will not be processed without it.
This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043:2010.
Samples ship in July.
