This test is open to participants in the U.S. only.
This test offering is ideal for laboratories that perform calibration of breath alcohol instruments and provides laboratories with the opportunity to assess the calibration and linearity of these instruments. Sample sets consist of four 34L NIST traceable reference material dry gas cylinders. Quantitative results for breath alcohol concentrations and accompanying expanded uncertainty values for the dry gas standards will be gathered. These values will be compared with the reference concentration and uncertainty provided by the dry gas manufacturer using the En metric described in ISO 13528. The linearity of the results for each participant may be illustrated using regression statistics, if appropriate.
Upon publication of the summary report, CTS will supply participants with new labels for the NIST traceable reference material cylinders so that the samples can be used as calibration standards.
Please note: this test does not include a push-button regulator.
This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043:2010.
Samples ship in July.
